Confidentially and directly engage with buyers (or producers).
Now on VINEX when you Add Listing to offer (or source) bulk or bottled wines you can choose to attract the open market to your listing through the Main Exchange or specifically target only those buyers (or producers) you want to attract through the Direct Market.

Locked Listings When viewing a Direct listing you can only see the basic details, eg. vintage, variety, region, quality level etc. You can't see the more sensitive details, eg. pricing, quantities, the price range of current offers, nor any specific technical details or label images (if in the Bottle Market).
Your name cannot be viewed by other producers or brokers; only buyers.
Why use this market? It enables you to narrow your focus and directly engage with only those suppliers (or buyers) you know and want to view your details. It's a more direct and personal approach, particularly when you would prefer to shield your information from the open market.
How? Enter the list screen and select Add Listing. Select Selling or Buying, then your preferred Trade Method, next you select Direct. When selecting you'll be given an option to search and select suppliers or buyers from the extensive VINEX database. Currently there's more than 34,000 organisations available from more than 80 countries. If you would like assistance, please message VINEX Support. Once finished inviting, complete the required listing sections and then press Submit Listing. Your listing will be displayed on your dashboard and our system will automatically issue the invites with an access code directly to the relevant person in those organisations that you've invited.
Helpful Tip If you don't know which organisations to invite, you can simply type in "VINEX", then finish your listing and submit. We'll then consult you and forward your listings to a selection of buyers (or suppliers) on your behalf.

What are the advantages?
BUYERS
Buyers can discretely target their buying requirements in a more direct and efficient way, sharing the same detailed information at the same time. Eg. they may only want to engage with several producers, all of which they have audited and are quality certified - they just want to more efficiently receive offer quotes by issuing the same wine details and specifications at the same time. All buyer listings remain anonymous, although every member does have a member profile and rating which provides important information about the buyer.
Best Industry Procurement: The Direct Market is also used by buyers to formally eTender their supply requirements, applying best industry practice and compliance. More information on eTender is available here.
PRODUCERS
Producers can offer wine at very competitive, market sensitive prices and large quantities directly to specific buyers without the fear of de-stabilising market pricing. It's a confidential, quick and easy way to discretely offer discounts to clear wine stocks. It's also used to target new buyers or reach into new markets. Producers have an option to display their company brand to those you're inviting, or not. If you choose to reveal your name it's only displayed to the buyers you invite.
